What is this platform?
The Virtual Revolution Championship site allows players to see any upcoming VR tournaments and events. Only VR esports events will be listed.
Do I need to register?
Yes, to be able to register for VR Tournaments an account for you and each member of your team will be required.
Are there any costs or is there an age restriction to participate in a tournament?
Check the info box of the tournaments if there are any entry fees. Usually there is an entry fee per player to make a bigger prize pool.
Yes, you have to be atleast 13 years old.
How can I register for a tournament?
When a tournament spot is open, you can register yourself and your team members with the registration button on the home screen.
For the moment, you cannot register only yourself for a tournament, you will need to register a team member as well.
Will there be other games?
The VRC team is constantly looking for high quality titles to add to our events. Initially, our focus will be on Tower Tag.
Where is the tournament location?
Tournaments will always be held by one of our partner arcades, and the location of the tournament will always be visible to you on the VRC website.
As the tournament progresses, you may qualify for another tournament in another venue, so make sure to check for this before signing up for an upcoming tournament.
Will I be able to win prizes?
Of course, prizes are always a part of VR esports tournaments. The prize pool will depened on the specific event, and the number of participants in the tournaments.
The prizes will be awarded directly after the tournament. Depending on the event, there may be additional, non-monetary prizes as well.
Can I train for an upcoming tournament at home?
You can get the game “Tower Tag” through steam or the oculus store. If you want to train for a tournament set-up, we recommend visiting one of our partner arcades near you to train for tournament set-up there.
